Brilliant Too is known as “Zuel” in the barn. Zuel was bred and raised by the Poulin Family. 
Kate has been Zuel's primary teacher as she started him under saddle. They have quite a partnership. 
Currently Zuel is training Grand Prix  and was a member of the 2007 Pan American Games Team. Zuel is loaded with
personality and loves to be the center of attention. Zuel has won awards up through the levels which include the following.

Also known as “Blaze”. Blaze was Kate's first pony. He has quite an amazing story. Originally rescued from a slaughter auction then turned into a jumper pony. When Kate got him at the age of 10, Blaze had not been ridden in 8 months due to being sick with Lyme's Disease. Kate trained Blaze to FEI and today at the age of 28 is still teaching Junior riders how to do piaffe. Kate and Blaze went on to win many USDF Horse of the Year awards, Regional Championships and helping Kate earn her USDF Bronze Medal.

Herb was purchased as a colt by Dee Muma and sent to the Poulin's as a four year old. Kate and Herb partnered up in 1994 and have won many awards which include the following: USDF Silver Medal, Two NAYRC Team Gold Medals, Several USDF Regional Championships and was the Performance Horse Champion at Prix St. George. Kate trained Herb to Grand Prix. In 2001 Herb and Kate made their Grand Prix debut earning their USDF Gold Medal. Herb was also the Individual Silver Medalist at the 2000 NAYRC with Kate's sister Gwen. Recently Herb is being ridden by Marie DiBaccari, assistant trainer to Michael & Sharon Poulin. Marie has earned her USDF Bronze and Silver Medals on Herb.

Index and Kate competed very successfully at the Young Rider level in 2000. They were the winners of the Southern Comfort CDI-W, Palm Beach Dressage Derby CDI-W and many other shows. They won USDF Horse of the Year awards, a NAYRC Team Gold Medal and 11th individual placing. Kate trained Index to Grand Prix. He was known for his goofy personality around the barn. He had exceptional gaits and a wonderful passage. Unfortunately Index passed away in 2006.

Rookie was bred and raised by the Poulin family. Kate started Rookie under saddle as a three year and has had a successful career in Dressage and Breed Shows. Together they have participated in several symposiums for trainers and judges forums. Rookie is known for his kind temperament around the barn. Currently training at the Grand Prix level.
